Tania (she/her) is a first-generation Latina born and raised in the Central Valley. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Legal Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She later completed her Master’s degree at the University of San Francisco and received a M.A. in Higher Education and Student Affairs.
Tania’s experience as student leader and professional staff member has given her the opportunity to work in academic advising, student involvement, Latinx identity development, new student orientation,and student leadership development. Tania is passionate about helping students navigate their way through higher education. She is committed to the creation of safe spaces with the intent of strengthening students’ sense of belonging within the campus community.
