Fall 2025-Spring 2026 Cub-E Tabling Placement Map

Timing

*Lottery system 8am-5pm Monday-Friday. (First 2 weeks of fall and spring semesters)

Cub-E is open 9am-5pm Monday-Friday.

Cub-E will be closed during spring break, holidays, RRR week and finals week.

Lottery System (first 2 weeks of the semester)

Cub-E is a program that helps student organizations table throughout the academic year. During the first two weeks of classes, Cub-E is an incredibly popular program. Therefore, Cub-E will allocate reservations based on a lottery system to ensure that as many organizations as possible have an opportunity to table.

Fall and spring semester tabling during the lottery will be limited on Upper Sproul, Dwinelle and Wheeler Plazas. Tabling spots will be allocated by the Cub-E staff via a randomized selection process. By participating in the lottery system, you must adhere to the Lottery Terms and Conditions.

Fall 2026 Lottery Details:

  • Each day, 50 student groups needing Cub-E equipment (tables/chairs), and at least 150 student groups with their own equipment, will be selected to table. Refer to the lottery map for reference.
  • Selected groups will be notified by 5pm on August 21st to the individual who signed up through the lottery form.
  • Check in between 8am-10am daily for tabling permit and equipment check outs
  • After 10am, unclaimed tabling spaces and equipment will be given to other student groups on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Student groups may be asked to relocate their table on the day-of for safety or policy reasons.

Expanded Tabling Locations (Aug 26th – Sept 4th)

  • Student groups without a canopy may table on Upper Sproul.
  • Student groups with a canopy may table on Dwinelle or Wheeler Plaza (please note canopy restrictions are to maximize space and accommodate more organizations).

Tip: Due to limited equipment, bringing your own table (and chairs) increases your chances of being assigned a tabling space. You will need to note this on your entry form.

The lottery entry form will be available August 3rd and will close on August 17th at 5pm. After this time, we will not accept additional entries into this program; however, based on available tabling spaces and equipment, student groups can table after 10am on a first come first serve basis.
