bridges Outreach Program Coordinator
Daisy Melie Gamero (she/ella) is a first-generation, Latina, from Los Angeles, California. She is a college graduate of UC Berkeley, where she obtained her B.A. in Ethnic Studies. Daisy has been a part of bridges since her time as an undergraduate, where she first served as an intern for the Raíces Recruitment and Retention Center, and later served as bridges’ K12 Recruitment and Executive Director.
Post-graduation, Daisy worked with high school students as a College Adviser and is happy to be back with bridges as Program Coordinator. As a bridges Alumni, she looks forward to continuing to uplift the transformative and impactful work the coalition does and empowering forthcoming generations of students of color to come.
