About Calapalooza

Calapalooza is our bi-annual student involvement fair. New and continuing students can connect with members of our 1,200+ registered student organizations (RSOs), 60 sororities & fraternities (CalGreeks), and student government groups (ASUC and Graduate Assembly). Through Calapalooza, prospective members can learn how to join a student group, the benefits of membership, the expected time commitment, membership requirements, and how joining can positively impact a student’s Berkeley experience. Our student organizations provide countless opportunities for students to find community and follow their interests and passions at Cal.

Spring 2025 Calapalooza | Thursday, January 23rd

Calapalooza will take place from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. We will feature over 200 students groups.

Location: Pauley Ballroom

*Tabling Sign-ups are closed as we reached capacity.

Please make sure your org is fully registered with the university in order to participate. We will advertise Calapalooza to all new and continuing students at Berkeley via campus-wide email, CalLink, New Student Services, and social media. Students will have a chance to stop by your table throughout the event. We ask that you have general information prepared to share with prospective members, including information on membership requirements, how to join/apply/audition, the expected time commitment, membership dues or fees (if any), events you host, leadership opportunities, and the benefits of membership. Please give prospective members time and space to ask their questions and follow up with any upcoming info sessions or events you are hosting!

For Prospective Members:

Berkeley has over 1,200 Registered Student Organizations (RSO’s), 60 fraternities and sororities, and student government (ASUC/GA) groups looking to recruit YOU. Student organizations are eagerly preparing to recruit new members at the start of each semester.

During Calapalooza you are welcome to visit as many student groups as you can during each day. Groups will share general information about their organizations and will let you know about any upcoming info sessions or events to attend. If there are membership requirements or an application/audition process, they will also share those.

You can find your community at Cal by logging into CalLink.berkeley.edu.
