Take Back The Night 2016
April 6, 2016 | 5:00 pm–7:30 pm
Join us for a night of empowerment against sexual and relationship violence at UC Berkeley! Come to Upper Sproul at 5pm on April 6 for a night of performances, speakers, open mic, and a community resource fair. The event will also feature a candlelight vigil honoring victims and survivors of sexual and relationship violence.
TBTN is a safe and brave space of healing and support.
TBTN is a movement to break the silence surrounding violence through art– visual art, singing, dancing, acting, poetry, spoken word, and speech.
We’ll be giving out free food and t-shirts. Don’t miss this powerful annual event!
*We welcome all allies and survivors to this event. In breaking the silence around violence for folks belonging to marginalized identities, we especially invite queer people, people of color, and qtpoc to share this space.
