ASUC 2017-18 ABSA Final Budget and Space Decision

The ASUC Senate passed Senate Resolution 16/17-098 2017-2018 Annual Budgeting & Spaces Allocation Bill on April 26, 2017. See the details of the Final Decisions and next steps below


Per SR 16/17-098 the 2017-18 ASUC Annual Budgeting and Spaces Allocation (ABSA) FINAL budget Allocations Decision is now available here.

The 2017-18 ASUC Allocation funds activities that occur in the ASUC’s fiscal year July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018. The allocation will be uploaded, ie. credited, to each organization’s Callink Finance Line item “ASUC Student Fee Funding” within the first week of August, 2017. All unspent 2016-17 ASUC funding will be reversed as of June 30, 2017.

THE DEADLINE to submit 2016-17 PURCHASE REQUESTS for ASUC PROGRAMS or Fiscal Year 2016-17 MISCELLANEOUS FUNDS is noon, FRIDAY, MAY 26, 2017! This due date allows for all 2016-17 transactions to be finalized by June 30, 2017.

[Check with your LEAD Center Coordinator for any special 2016-17 FY summer activity circumstances beyond 5/26/17 or 2017-18 FY activity prior to August, 2017]

Note: Graduate Student organizations do not need to participate in the ASUC ABSA budgeting process as they receive funding via the GA Funding cycles. Please contact the Graduate Assembly for information on GA funding sources.
