We currently hold an internship program in our Ceramics Studio

NOTE: OUR INTERNSHIP PROGRAM IS CURRENTLY FULL. THE BELOW INFORMATION APPLIES TO INTERNSHIPS BEGINNING THE FALL SEMESTER OF 2013. PLEASE CONTACT US CLOSER TO THAT DATE (AUGUST) IN ORDER TO APPLY FOR AN INTERNSHIP.

The Berkeley Art Studio offers internships in the ceramics studio. The program is open to UC Berkeley students who are interested in learning everything necessary to run a ceramics studio. Interns will learn and execute glaze mixing, clay recycling, kiln firing, and studio clean-up. The internship program requires a commitment of every Monday from 9am- Noon during the school semester. Interns are compensated with free access to the ceramics studio in lieu of a stipend.

The work does occasionally require the ability to lift heavy objects, can be tiring, but is most often very rewarding. This group meets Monday mornings from 9am – noon.

If you are a UC Berkeley student (Undergraduate or Graduate) interested in becoming an intern please email our Manager, Katelyn, at artstudio@berkeley.edu

We do not offer internship programs in our other studios at this time.
